Nashik Engineering Cluster has been awarded Platinum Award of Smart Incubator of the Year 2026 by India Smart Grid Forum (ISGF). The award was received by Mr. SK Mathur CEO Nashik Engineering Cluster along with Mr Nikhil Kulkarni GM - NEC's Incubation centre at 10th edition of Innovation awards presented on 13th March 2026 at glittering ceremony at New Delhi. ISGF innovation awards were instituted in 2017 to recognize and celebrate the organizations who have set new benchmarks in Innovation Promotion in Industrial Domain.
Nashik Engineering Cluster was selected under the Startup India Seed Fund Scheme, marking a significant milestone in NEC’s commitment towards fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. Through the SISFS initiative, NEC became eligible to provide funding support to startups, helping them accelerate growth and transform innovative ideas into successful ventures. The achievement strengthened NEC’s role in supporting the startup ecosystem through incubation, mentoring and financial assistance initiatives.
